I came here for dinner! I loved the patio in the back, it set a romantic moody atmosphere which paired perfectly with the casual French dining fare. The patio is covered on all sides but it is still outdoors, so it was pretty chilly. We had to have jackets on the whole time, since SF is cold even during the summer. I noticed that there were heaters in the patio area but they would go on/off at random times and stayed off for most of our meal. The food was great. I would order these again -- Salade Toscanes -- Charcuterie -- Macaroni side -- Pasta d'ete -- NY Steak -- Beef bourguignon -- Fig The steak and the macaroni were especially good. Items I would skip next time: -- Steak tartar (very heavy handed with the vinegar here) -- Lemon Ricotta Ravioli (flavors didn't do it for me) -- Mushroom fondue (just ok, portion was small) -- Bourride Zazie (I didn't like the method of the cook on the fish, was quite flat and somewhat dry) The service was friendly but at times inattentive. I found it interesting that the 20% tip is already included in the menu.

The food is very good, they cook the salmon perfectly, not overcooked or undercooked. The service is most friendly and have good knowledge of the food and ingredients. I was there with friends for Bastille Day, Sunday, July 14, 2024. Everyone thought the food was very tasty and well-prepared. However, I ordered the Apple Tarte Tatin for dessert, unfortunately, that was disappointing. The apples were half cooked and did not have any caramel. It ws not the French Apple Tarte Tatin. Everything else was terrific! Thank you!

Expect very long waits. Just put your name on the list, and go on a stroll on Cole Valley, Haight St, The Panhandle or GGP. It's a very small restaurant and it is always incredibly busy. However, it's worth the wait. The pancakes are delicious, the potatoes, the eggs, the bacon. Everything here is just amazing! It's worth the wait and the hype. Just be prepared to wait so allow yourself to do something near by in the meantime. You can track your spot on yelp's waitlist tracker. Get pancakes and eggs benedict!!!

One of the best brunch spots in SF. The Benedicts, scrambles, and pancakes are all fabulous. I recommend sitting in the back patio for a great ambiance. Service is always excellent.
